We are looking to add up to five new committee members to ensure we have ample resources to support our DEI journey in implementing the necessary changes to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
Our mission is to support the eHealth Technologies community in efforts to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture for all team members. We strive to apply our learning and personal experiences to the implementation of impactful initiatives, forums, etc. that will help employees feel empowered to be their best.
Committee Member Eligibility Requirements:
- Must complete Committee application by May 1st. Click here for the application.
- Submit the completed application to Committee Chair, Stacey Thomas.
- Have your manager’s approval to apply.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of service with eHealth Technologies.
- If approved to join the committee, be able to commit to the role for one year.
- Must be in good standing, with no performance write-ups within 6 months.
- Be passionate about creating opportunities for eHealth Technologies to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
- Be open and willing to challenge yourself and learn about others.
- Have the time and ability to attend recurring meetings.
- Have the time to devote to projects that support the overall strategic diversity planning deliverables.
- Be prepared to spend approximately 2-3 hours per month for committee meetings, project support, etc.
Committee Member Role Expectations:
- Able to attend monthly committee meetings.
- Able to provide feedback and input on DEI communications as needed.
- Willing to complete online DEI training series as part of committee member onboarding process.
- Comfortable leaning into discomfort and having difficult conversations with fellow committee members and team members on challenging DEI topics.
- Excellent listener.
- Open-minded, creative.
- Dedicated to creating a sense of belonging for all team members.
- Must be trustworthy.
All applications will be reviewed by the DEI committee with final support from the executive management team. Final decisions will be communicated by mid-June.
