Our COVID-19 task force met again this morning, and I want to assure you that we’re taking precautions to keep our work environment safe.

As a reminder, due to the COVID-19 diagnosis of a Greece school worker, we’re asking all employees with a child in the Greece school district to stay home and not to come to work until further notice. If you have not already called to notify us, Operations team members with children in the Greece School district should call 242-1021 as soon as possible and leave a message stating your name, the region you work in, and that you have a child in the Greece school district. Employees in IT or other departments, please notify your supervisor.

Anyone else impacted by school closures who now have childcare issues and are unable to work Monday, please also notify us if you haven’t already. Operations personnel should call 242-1021, leave a message stating your name, the region you are working in, and that your child’s school has been closed and you do not have childcare. For other personnel please contact your supervisor.

As stated previously, any employees unable to work due to school closures and childcare needs will be paid with no impact to PTO or occurrences. Once we have the infrastructure in place for working remotely, we will revisit this policy.

All other team members who are feeling healthy, please report to the office so that we can continue to care for our customers. We ask that you wash your hands upon entering the building.

Our plans are on track to set up work-from-home procedures by mid-week. We will keep you updated as these plans are finalized.

If you have questions about coming to work Monday based on your personal circumstances, please leave a message for Michelle Halloran at 242-1002 and she will get back to you.

Stay healthy and continue to watch for updates.
