On behalf of the eHealth Technologies Cares Committee, we want to thank you all for making our inaugural year successful. We raised over $5K for the American Cancer Society through our Relay for Life and Making Strides Against Cancer events, and put up a company tree in Wise, VA to show our holiday spirit. These events have allowed us to live out our mission: to build the presence of eHealth Technologies in each of our communities while supporting organizations that align with our vision of providing life-altering care for patients and their families. Our goal is to continue promoting the core values of eHealth Technologies, rally team members in our communities to support the organizations that help our patients, and continue to build a reputation for helping patients.
And with that, we have some exciting opportunities for eHealth Technologies staff to give back this holiday season!
Organization:
Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge – American Cancer Society
About:
Hope Lodge provides a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers while they undergo treatment. Hope Lodge is more than just a roof over their heads, it’s a nurturing and supportive community. Each Hope Lodge community offers a supportive, homelike environment where guests can share a meal, join in the evening’s activities, or unwind in their own private room. Patients staying at a Hope Lodge must be in active cancer treatment and permanently reside more than 40 miles away from their cancer treatment center.
Ways to Get Involved:
We want to thank the Rochester staff for joining us in preparing a meal for the patients on December 14. If you are interested in giving to this organization, you are welcome to donate to this worthy cause by visiting www.cancer.org/ehealthcares.
Donations can be made up until Christmas day. If you’d like to donate items of need, please feel free to check out their Amazon Wish List – all items can be shipped to:
