Did you know…cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women, causing one in three deaths each year?
In honor of American Heart Month in February, we’d like to spotlight the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative. Go Red for Women is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.
This Friday, February 3, we encourage you to honor this initiative by participating in one or more of the following:
- Wear red at some point this week and take a selfie! Send your photo by Thursday, February 2, by 5 p.m. to brilliantideas@ehealthtechnologies.com.
- Share a personal story about how cardiovascular disease has affected you or someone you know. Your story could appear in a future employee newsletter and/or social media campaign to help increase awareness and empower women to take action to reduce their own personal risk of heart disease.
- Share healthy lifestyle measures you are taking to help lower this statistic.
We look forward to our team members coming together to support this initiative. Participation is open to all eHealth Technologies employees.
