Dear eHealth Technologies Employees,
I wanted to inform you that the IT & Cybersecurity Team has successfully resolved the encryption issue related to our email system. Thanks to their quick response and collaborative efforts, we can now ensure the proper encryption of our outgoing emails.
To maintain the security of our communications and protect sensitive information, it is essential that we utilize encryption consistently. Here’s a simple guideline on how to use encryption for our emails:
Subject Line: Adding “[Encrypt]” in the subject title.
When composing an email that requires encryption, please include “[Encrypt]” at the beginning of the subject line. This ensures that the email is encrypted properly before it is sent out.
In today’s digital landscape, where cyber threats are ever-present, encryption serves as a critical safeguard for our personal and professional data. By converting our information into an encrypted format that can only be accessed with the correct decryption key or password, we add an extra layer of security. Email encryption is particularly important to protect against unauthorized interception and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive or confidential information. Please remember to follow this process when sending any Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) outside our network.
If you have any questions or encounter any further issues related to encryption or email security, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the IT & Cybersecurity Team. We are available to provide guidance and support.
Thank you,
Tamara Lauterbach
