On behalf of the executive team, we want to thank you all for your leadership and wish you continued success in your new roles as we advance the delivery of life-altering care, together.

Congratulations on Your Promotion!

Matt Hanley, Senior Vice President of Finance

Matt Hanley will be celebrating his four-year anniversary with eHealth Technologies this July! Matt came to eHealth Technologies as a Controller in 2019 and was promoted to Vice President of Finance last year. In his new role as Senior Vice President of Finance, Matt’s duties will expand to encompass broader planning and strategic company initiatives. He is most looking forward to strengthening relationships with his colleagues and getting to know team members across all departments. He is excited about building a deeper understanding of our organization, its customers, and the tech-enabled health services market.

He offers the following advice to his peers who are looking to advance in their careers: “Work hard and be persistent. Keep focused and don’t give up when faced with roadblocks. Find a way.”

Congratulations, Matt!

Nick Spano, Director of Healthcare Technology Services Innovation

Nick Spano has been part of the eHealth Technologies family for 10 years – a whole decade! We’ve been lucky to have him as a team member and are thrilled to announce his recent promotion from Director of IT to Director of Healthcare Technology Services Innovation. In this new role, Nick will be responsible for assessing and recommending technologies and processes that will positively impact our operations. This role will assist Product and Technology to progressively achieve our 2025 organizational strategy of building and implementing our patient access portal. Additionally, this role will serve as the eHealth Technologies Systems and Workflows Subject Matter Expert (SME). As the SME on eHealth Technologies systems and workflows, he will consult internally and cross-functionally with leaders and technologists to advise on the feasibility of proposed projects and changes. He will also act as a point of escalation and will be up-skilling technology staff by teaching/guiding them as we introduce new technologies.

Nick is most looking forward to being able to impact the overall organization more by shifting focus to improving our underlying healthcare technology systems, and updating our processes/workflows, while continuing to foster our culture of knowledge sharing by acting as an educator/mentor as we implement new/replacement technologies.

His advice to peers wanting to advance in their careers at eHealth Technologies: “Be undeniable and contribute in a positive manner! I always strive to get to the real issue at hand and understand a problem/challenge from all angles, so I can find the best solution that fits.”

Congratulations, Nick!

Welcome to the Team!

Tamara Lauterbach, Director of Information Security & Information Security Officer

We are pleased to share that we have filled the Director of Information Security & Information Security Officer role with a seasoned healthcare technology professional, Tamara Lauterbach. Tamara comes to eHealth Technologies from Capital Rx where she was the Director of IT Security and Compliance overseeing the organization’s HiTrust and SOC programs, leading and managing organizational risk, and leading and managing vendor risk.

Prior to Capital Rx, Tamara worked at Highmark Health holding multiple cybersecurity roles during her tenure. Tamara brings a wealth of experience in healthcare IT security and leadership, which she will be utilizing to help eHealth Technologies further progress our commitment to privacy and security for our customers, patients, and employees. Her past experiences will allow for a new perspective of leadership to reflect on previous mistakes organizations have made and push forward for overall improvement as the organization’s Cyber Line of Defense (CLoD).

In this new role, Tamara is most looking forward to demonstrating that hard work can truly pay off!

Tamara has lived in the Greater Pittsburgh area her entire life. She completed five years in the Marine Corps in Intelligence, which led to the pursuit of higher education, earning three master’s degrees. Outside of work you can find her spending time with her spouse, two daughters, and two fur babies. She loves to read, watch movies, travel, and continuously work on her archery and shooting skills.

Please join me in welcoming her to the team!

Let’s show our team members some appreciation and support by dropping them congratulatory and welcome notes via email or Teams message. Every positive action has the ability to brighten someone’s day!
